Photo Cat

22082010

First alleycat I've competed in and it was 'bolts'. Although it was quite tiring riding up hills on risers and trying to get to and from every checkpoint really fast, it was quite an intense ride, in a good way. Started off slow and behind but caught up eventually. Risers allowed me get through tight spots relatively easy. We went quite off course but corrected, losing like 10 or 15 minutes which could of been used for Bell Tower points (*sigh*). Later, with the help of other riders, we found the end point which was hidden behind some house. Ate burgers. Came last (point-wise). Went to Hungry Jacks for dinner. Came home in the rain resulting in rusting of bolts and chain the next day.

I never I could ride that much in the space of one hour. Good day.

Holidays

There's so much free time now. There's no more pressure to get things done.
Now, I can just focus on finishing my fixie. Got crankset and lockring today.
And talking of today, it's my birthday.

Riding down long hills really fast is actually quite fun. Haven't done it properly until today when riding to the city. Cars were a big fear; nearly got doored. But riding fast is quite exhilarating. And going up hills is tiring.

Anyway, done. Laters!

cold mornings

New blog, simply because I don't the other one anymore.
This new blog will hopefully have more photos and less raging.
And probably a drop in frequency of posts due to Year 12.

It is my birthday on the 6th of July. Don't know what I want to do.
Hopefully get some money to work on my fixie. Or some cool new clothing.

Perth has been getting pretty cold lately, and today was no exception. Despite the sun being out and shining to provide us with glorious warmth, the air stayed chilly. Riding to school, hands froze. Riding home, still cold. And slow.

I'll leave you with this picture I found a while ago...
